Duration of the treatment process

The duration of the program varies from person to person. In many cases, the intake and two sessions are sufficient. Sometimes additional sessions are necessary. After the third appointment, we'll evaluate together whether and how to proceed. To ensure a smooth process, I recommend booking three dates in advance: one for the intake and the first two sessions. This prevents long gaps and ensures continued progress.

Intake interview

We'll begin the process with a 90-minute intake interview. During this appointment, we'll get to know each other and explore your needs. I'll also explain the treatment method and the process.

First session

After the intake, we'll schedule the first session. This also lasts an hour and a half. Please be aware that you may feel tired after this session. Therefore, it's wise to keep the rest of the day as free as possible.

Second session

About two weeks later, there will be a follow-up session of one and a half hours, during which we will finalise the details together.

Schedule 3 times

Schedule three separate sessions. You'll receive a confirmation email for each session. PLEASE NOTE! Sometimes the email ends up in your spam folder.

  • General terms and conditions

General Terms and Conditions Studio Vrij Article 1 Definition These general terms and conditions apply to all services and deliveries of Studio Vrij, for both private individuals and companies. Studio Vrij reserves the right to adjust/amend these general terms and conditions in the future. Article 2 Confidentiality 2.1. Everything discussed in the contact between Studio Vrij and the client remains confidential unless clearly agreed otherwise verbally. The client has the right to decide for themselves what content is shared with the outside world. Article 3 Cancellation and Cancellations 3.1. The client or commissioning party must cancel a consultation no later than 24 hours in advance. If canceled within the 24 hours' notice, the consultation price will be charged. 3.2. Studio Vrij reserves the right to reschedule appointments free of charge in the event of illness, disability, death or serious illness of family or loved ones, which prevents Studio Vrij from properly carrying out the assignment. Article 4 Payment and Due Date 4.1. Invoices must be paid in full using legal tender in the Netherlands, without any deduction or discount, no later than the date stated on the invoice. Failure to pay the invoice on time does not release the client from their obligations. If a discount has been given, this will be reflected in the invoice. 4.2. Payment for a consultation must be made within 14 days of receipt of the invoice. Clients are, of course, permitted to transfer payment in advance to Studio Vrij's account. Article 5 Location and Travel Expenses 5.1. Consultations with private individuals take place at Studio Vrij. 5.2. Consultations requested by companies take place at the client's office, unless otherwise agreed. 5.3. Travel expenses are charged at a rate of €0.50 per kilometer. 5.4. Any parking costs will be charged in full to the client. 5.5. Travel time is charged at half the hourly rate. Article 6 Notice of Default and Delinquency 6.1. If payment has not been made by the due date, the client will receive a payment reminder, setting a reasonable period for fulfilling the obligations. 6.2. If this reminder does not result in payment within the payment period stated on the reminder, a second payment reminder will be sent. This second reminder will be increased by €7.50 in administration costs. 6.3. If this reminder is not responded to either, a debt collection agency will be engaged. All costs of the debt collection agency will be charged directly to the client. This includes the costs of the bailiff, legal assistance, and similar costs. In addition, the client owes interest of 1% per month, unless the statutory interest rate is higher, in which case the statutory interest is due. The interest on the amount due will be calculated from the moment the client is in default until the moment of payment of the amount due. 6.4. Studio Vrij is entitled, as soon as default has occurred, to charge the client or client an immediately payable penalty of 15% of the amount still owed. Article 7 Liability 7.1. The advice and guidance of Studio Vrij is solution- and result-oriented, without guaranteeing the solution or the result. 7.2. Both the child and the adult will continue to develop themselves in their process. 7.3. Studio Vrij will never take the place of a doctor or specialist. In the event of physical complaints, the client should always first contact their general practitioner. 7.4 Studio Vrij does not claim to be able to solve physical and/or mental complaints, but encourages the client to develop themselves in order to find solutions. 7.5 Studio Vrij is never liable for direct and/or indirect damage or injury resulting from, or in connection with, the services provided. 7.6. Studio Vrij is not liable for damage to the client resulting from a psychological and/or physical condition already present in the client before the start of the consultation. 7.7. Studio Vrij cannot be held liable for indirect damage. 7.8. Studio Vrij reserves the right to exclude participants who, through their behavior or otherwise, hinder or hamper the normal course of a session, theme meeting, workshop, or training, given the interests of other participants or the practitioner, from further participation. Exclusion does not affect the obligation to pay the participation fee. Article 8 Applicability of law and disputes 8.1. All disputes of any nature concerning or related to these general terms and conditions are exclusively governed by Dutch law. 8.2. If Studio Vrij and the client are unable to resolve differences of opinion amicably and jointly, the disagreement will be submitted for mediation to the disputes committee to which Studio Vrij is affiliated. Article 9 Rates 2021: All amounts exclude 21% VAT. Rate changes are subject to change without prior notice. This does not apply to appointments already scheduled. A brief consultation, by telephone or email, is included in the rate. Studio Vrij, Chamber of Commerce number 72200405
